Other reviewers have given you quite a lot of detail regarding the plot and key characters, I’m a big picture person so my review is much more succinct.
This is simply the most stunning, gripping, awesome book I’ve ever read. Right from page 1 you are plunged into the action, and you feel as if you are there, on the beach with Jessica at the moment her life changes forever.
I loved the contrast between first and third person, which took you through 20 years of pain from Jessica’s mum and the persons responsible for the abduction.
And the end, well, it grips you with twists and turns you would never imagine. Can’t wait for Darren’s next book!
